The Sign in Method is not Allowed Error in Windows 10 – Techilife
When trying to log onto my computer on Windows 10, i get the message “The sign-in method you are trying to use isn’t allowed. For more info, contact жмите sign in method youre using isnt allowed administrator. I only have one user which is the administrator. I cannot log in. I tried researching online bit it seems nobody has resolved the issue. Please help asap! This is my only computer to do school work on and need it to work asap.

I clicked on that, then reset the computer which lost all my files. I didnt have anything on it to lose except a few programs I had to redownload thanks to saving old emails.
I did lose my saved schoolwork, but not a big deal. I’m just glad I didn’t have to spend money on a new computer or to pay someone else to fix it. Thanks for everyone who tried assisting. This is cause behind the problem. Click Add User or Group button. Then locate the user facing issue in list populated, and select it. If multiple users are victim of this problem, select User group from the list. Click OK. Click Apply followed by OK. Close Security Policy window and sign-out of admin account. Now the users facing this problem should have no complaint regarding this issue, as it is resolved.
Does the User Account you are tyring to sign into have the Allow logon locally User rights assignment? Tried two different admin accounts, no luck. Could a certificate cause this issue? No recent changes to group policy. It is a user rights assignment issue. That account is missing the logon locally user rights assignment. Strange, I will dig into the group policy and make sure domain admins have local privileges.
Strange thing is this only appears to be an issue on domain contollers. Non controller servers are not an issue. No luck – secpol.
